How CS Rating Works
You GAIN rating when:
- • Your team wins rounds (more rounds = more rating)
- • You get MVP stars
- • You beat higher-rated opponents
- • You win the match
You LOSE rating when:
- • Your team loses rounds
- • You lose to lower-rated opponents
- • You lose the match
- • You abandon or get kicked
Tips to Rank Up Faster
Win rounds, not just matches
CS Rating changes are based on rounds won/lost. A 16-14 loss loses less rating than a 16-2 loss.
Get MVP stars
MVPs indicate high impact. Plant bombs, defuse, and get multi-kills to earn MVPs.
Play consistently
Playing 2-3 matches daily is better than 10 matches in one day. Avoid fatigue.
Master 2-3 maps
Don't queue all maps. Focus on maps you know well for higher win rates.
Warm up before playing
10-15 minutes of deathmatch before competitive improves your performance significantly.
Don't solo queue
Playing with 2-3 friends improves communication and coordination, leading to more wins.
